Happy People will play two gigs in Netherlands on December 9th-10th. On 9th Happy People will be the main act on the international Finland 100 years Gala Concert in Koepelkerk Amsterdam. On the following night we will have a club gig somewhere in Haag. These will be Happy People´s the international performances and certainly not the last!

AWAY 29.5.2017. Kappale äänitettiin ja kuvattiin tuottaja Pete Mataran (mm. Sandhja) Volume Productions –studiolla toukokuussa 2017.
Videotuotannosta vastaavat Axa Sorjanen ja Tuomas Palola. Kappaleen
on säveltänyt ja sovittanut Mikko Pettinen ja sanoittanut yhtyeessä
laulava Jonnu Heikkilä. Dance Away kehoittaa kuulijansa unohtamaan
hetkeksi arjen murheet ja turhautumiset uppoamalla rytmiin ja grooveen
ja tanssimalla huolet pois.
Dance Away on jatkoa Mikko Pettinen & Happy Peoplen syyskuussa
julkaisemalle Nothing Can Stop My Spirit –albumille.
Vastuttamattomasti sykkivä Dance Away on Pettisen mukaan saanut
vaikutteita mm. Earth, Wind & Fire:ltä, Princeltä, Michael Jacksonilta,
Bruno Marsilta ja Snarky Puppylta kuulostaen silti ehdalta Happy
Peoplelta.

A new single Dance Away is a follow-up to the studiolive recording
Nothing Can Stop My Spirit (cd, dvd and LP, Groovy Records) that was
released in September 2016.
Dance Away is an uplifting uptempo funk tune and it encourages its
listeners to forget about their worries and frustrations and to dance
them away.
Dance Away is composed and arranged by the band´s leader, singer,
keyboard player and trumpeter Mikko Pettinen. The lyrics are written by
Happy People´s background singer Jonnu Heikkilä.
Mikko Pettinen says that Dance Away was inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire,
Michael Jackson, Prince, Bruno Mars and Snarky Puppy, but it still sounds
like Happy People.
